We are a duo influenced by World music, Bossa Nova, Jazz and Blues.
Our proposal is sensitive, intimate, full of details, combining music and poetry in a unique fusion.
In 2005 Nadia was selected for the final of "Young composers of the Balearic Islands", in Spain.
We recorded our first demo "Pensamientos" in Spain in 2005, with support and collaboration in the recording and editing of Jaime Soriano (leader of the group "Sexy Sadie").
In 2009 we moved to Brazil. There we recorded 2 albums, "Existe um lugar "(2009) and "Apenas Palavras "(2011), the last one with the collaboration in the recording and editing of the french singer Emma Daumas.
We played in Brazil and Argentina for 3 years and then we decided to move once again to Europe in 2012.
In Europe we played in Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, Greece and United Kingdom.
In 2015 we recorded our third album, "Era uma vez".
But "Nadia e Rodolfo" is not only a duo of musicians, is a way of life in which all kinds of arts are present. The music is presented as the main actor, but painting, writing, designing, fashion designing, sewing, drawing ..... and many others, are also part of this adventure. Not all of these arts are part of the show, but they are part of our daily life, not as a hobby, but as a form of personal fulfillment.
Biography
RODOLFO MANTJE
Alto saxophone, flute, harmonica, clarinet and melodic. Intuitive and
self-taught musician.
The mixture of Dutch and Spanish origins with some years lived in Brazil, are reflected in his playing style, showing great sensitivity and emotion in his improvisation.
NADIA SOLEDAD GARCIA
Voice, guitar and kalimba.
Born in Argentina and raised in Brazil,
She also lived in Spain and France.
She began writing poems that later
turned into compositions, when she learned the guitar.
With her crystalline voice and her guitar creates a particular universe.
